Film: Jodha Akbar

Some of the sequences in Jodha Akbar were shot at Amber Fort, Agra Fort and the Dargah of the Ajmer Sharif in Rajasthan. The scene wherein Hrithik Roshan prays for success in conquering India, was shot at the Dargah of Ajmer Sharif, Rajasthan.

On other occurrences, the Fort of Amer and Amber are pictured in the narration. Jodha (Aishwarya Rai) when cooking for Akbar (Hrithik Roshan) uses the same kadhai which is placed in Amer Fort in Jaipur. The movie uses stunning shots of Agra Fort's exteriors and interiors. In addition, several scenes at Sambhar, Faloti Village in Rajasthan were also captured, despite the sandstorm and dust. Also, the film showed many sequences shot at Dhula, on the outskirts of Jaipur.

Film: Rang De Basanti

The song Masti ki pathshala was shot at the baoli of the Nahargarh Fort of Jaipur.
