SMUDE admissions for distance learning courses

What: The SMU DDE, established in 2001 by the Sikkim Manipal University of Health, Medical and Technological Sciences, opens admissions to its various under-graduate and post-graduate distance learning programmes.

The programmes offered by SMU are recognized by the Distance Education Council of the Government of India.

Most of the programmes offered are designed for multiple entry and exit. Lateral entry into higher semesters and credit transfers from one institution to another are also permitted in specific areas.

Important note

1) The Sikkim Manipal University of Health, Medical and Technological Sciences, Gangtok is incorporated under the State Legislative Act (Act IX of 1995) of the Government of Sikkim.
2) SMU's Degrees/Diploma/Certificates are recognized by all members of Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

Important dates

The last date for admission is May 15 for the session Spring 2008.
