What: Fellowships for Doctoral Studies at UK under UK-India Education and Research Initiative.

Details:

~ A joint research programme between the Indian Institute of Tropical  Meteorology (IITM) and the University of Reading, UK on `Science of  Regional Climate Change, Variability and Impacts`, has been selected  for a `Major Award` under the UK-India Education and Research Initiative (UKIERI).

~ The UKIERI programme offers two Doctoral Scholarships, for Indian scientists/students, for PhD (DPhil) in UK universities, one each at the University of Reading and University of East Anglia.

~ Candidates selected will be offered confirmed admission in the above mentioned Universities and financial support from the UKIERI in the form of Scholarship covering all the expenses including academic fees, international air fare and a monthly stipend to cover living expenses.
