In the land of Lord Buddha

To bring back the past glory of Nalanda, the Bihar government has decided to build a world class university here.

Airfare for Rs 599 and less!

Our last stop was obviously Bodhgaya, the most sacred and important place for Buddhist all over the world. Unlike Rajgir, Bodhgaya is cleaner, maybe because it is frequented by foreign tourists. Apart from the Mahabodhi Mahavihara, popularly known as the Mahabodhi temple, a world heritage site, Bodhgaya has a number of monasteries built by different countries and the Mahabodhi Society of India, which is more than 100 years old.
