What: National Institute of Virology, Pune, needs research assistants for a project entitled 'Influenza Virus Diagnostics using Oligonucleotide Microarray'.

Details:

~ Positions purely on a temporary basis (roughly one year, depending on project)

~ Salary fixed at Rs 8,325 per month

Elibility:

~ M. Sc. in microbiology, bioinformatics, biochemistry or allied brances of life sciences

~ Preference given to those with research experience in any recognised institute

~ Preference given to those with experience in handling software involving primer design, data normalisation, dendrogram construction, arrayinformatics and sequences alignment

~ Must be below 28 years, relaxable for SC/ST/OBC candidates

How to apply:

~ Walk-in interview on 12 July 2007 between 9:00 am and noon

~ Bring CV with attested copies of certificates, publications and one recent passport photograph
