What: Sri Ramachandra University invites applications for registration for October 2007 session

 

Details:


~ PhD Programme in Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Nursing, Allied Health Science and Biomedical Sciences.

 
~ The programme is offered on full-time and part-time basis (internal and external).

~ Full-time research is permitted only for those who have a fellowship from UGC, CSIR, ICMR or other similar funding/sponsoring agencies.

~ There is also a Split PhD programme under which candidates are permitted to conduct part of programme in SRU and part of programme in recognised institutes in India or abroad.

 

~ Integrated PhD programme will be offered for candidates who join the MD/MS/MDS courses of this University (3+2) from 2008 and also in certain other specified faculties.

 

How to apply:

~ Application forms for provisional registration can be obtained by post from the Registrar, Sri Ramachandra University, Porur, Chennai 600 116 by sending a requisition letter with a Demand Draft for Rs 2000 drawn in favour of the Registrar, Sri Ramachandra University or by payment in cash in person at the University. Selection will be made based on merit cum screening process (interview) of the university.

 

~ Last date for receipt of filled-in applications: 27 September 2007.
