Meet the baby photographer

Parents, you now no longer have to depend on your neighbourhood studio. Or even your well-meaning nephew's amateur attempts at photography to capture those precious, growing up moments of your child.

Ankur Aras, 25, a Mumbai-based photographer specialises in child photography and makes a living taking pictures of children from infancy to eight years of age.

But for Ankur, child photography is more than just a way to earn a living. It is his calling.

In a matter of four years, Ankur has progressed from taking photographs by trial and error to becoming a full-fledged professional in his own right.

Having photographed hundreds of babies till date, Ankur today is the proud owner of his own studio at Tardeo, Mumbai.

However, this humble chap gives due credit to his parents who supported him through his struggles. And according ot him, his career path wasn't always cakewalk.
