What: KLM-Northwest Airlines launches self-service check-in machines.

Details

~ Passengers flying on KLM-Northwest out of Mumbai can now also check-in via self-service check-in machines at the airport.

~ The three self-service check-in machines installed by KLM-Northwest in cooperation with the Airports Authority of India at the Mumbai International Airport are user-friendly and easy to operate.

~ You need to touch the screen to begin, insert your frequent flyer card, passport or credit card, select the flight number or destination and confirm your flight itinerary and check for valid documents.

~ You may pick a seat of your choice and, within seconds of confirming, you will get your boarding pass.

~ If you have check-in baggage, you may drop it off at the airline's special baggage drop-off counter for self-service checked-in passengers.

~ KLM-Northwest currently offer 18 weekly flights from India including a daily flight each from Delhi and Mumbai to Amsterdam and a four times weekly flight from Hyderabad to Amsterdam.

~ Passengers departing on any KLM � Northwest flight having electronic tickets can check-in online by visiting http://www.klm.com/ as much as 24 hours prior departure.
