Polio immunisation -- injection or drops?

The increasing number of polio cases in India -- particularly in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar -- have been a cause for concern.

The government of India is now proposing to administer injections for polio immunisation, instead of drops. In this manner, they hope to deal with the fears of those people who are afraid of giving their children polio drops.
