What: The National Defence Academy And Naval Academy Examination 2005 under the aegis of the Union Public Service Commission.

The examination is held for admission into the Army, Navy and Air Force.

This contains details about the syllabus and scheme of the examination, the examination centres and guidelines for filling the application forms.

Are you eligible?

~You must be male, unmarried, born not earlier than January 2, 1987, and not later than July 1, 1989.

Educational qualifications for the Army

~You must have completed the 10+2 pattern of school education or its equivalent, conducted by a State Education Board or University.

Educational qualifications for the Air Force and Navy

~You must have passed the 10+2 pattern of school education or its equivalent with Physics and Mathematics, conducted by a State Education Board or University.

~Candidates appearing for the qualifying examination can also apply.

~You must be physically fit according to the physical standards for admission to the National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination, 2005. Please consult Employment News/Rozgar Samachar dated October 16 for the physical standards.

~Please use the Common Application Form devised by the Commission, which can be purchased from the designated head post offices/post offices throughout the country against a cash payment of Rs 20.

~Each form can be used only once and only for one examination.
