Jamal is now going to speak in Tamil! Yes, Slumdog Millionaire [Images] is being dubbed in Tamil as Naanum Kodeeswaran (I am also a millionaire). The Tamil remake is produced by K Natarajan of Falcon Films.

What is interesting about Naan Kodeeswaran is that the producer has roped in popular actor Silambarasan aka Simbu to dub for Dev Patel [Images] and veteran singer S P Balasubramanian for Anil Kapoor [Images]. Radha Ravi has dubbed for Irrfan Khan [Images].

The producer didn't have to try too hard to get these stalwarts in Tamil to dub for the English film. Silambarasan, a busy actor in Tamil who has already seen Slumdog Millionaire three times, was delighted to be a part of the film, though in a different way.

The Tamil version will release in Tamil Nadu on February 14.
