'Nothing excites me right now'

Actor Jay Bhanushali is still jobless or in his own words, 'very choosy in terms of selecting his work.' We last saw him in a dance-based reality show during Diwali.

"I have worked two years at a stretch so I am not in a hurry. Though I am getting offers, nothing excites me 'so far. According to me it's better to be jobless than to do a show where my role is unimportant especially at this point in my career where I have a name and my fans like me a lot," Jay said.

He continued, "It's a good break for me. Plus my absence have made my fans very anxious."

A few months ago there was one show (Balaji's) which Jay was supposed to do. But that show got shelved.

Meanwhile, Jay, who made a good name as a dancer in last year's Jhalak Dikhla Ja, is all praise for the show.

Asked if given the chance would he host the show and replied, "Why not? After all JDLJ is a very dear show of mine."

Jay signed off with the promise that he would back next year.
