Super cop's show to replace Kyunki
November 06, 2008 16:33 IST

Former super cop and Magsaysay award winner Dr Kiran Bedi [Images] is all set to hit the small screen with her reality show Aap ki kachehri on Star Plus. The show replaces Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi.

Aap Ki Kachehri is one of those rare shows, which will help the society in dealing with social issues, and various disputes.

Bedi is the arbitrator and will be looking for out-of-court settlements in this out of court forum for dispute resolution and mediation.

"I am proud to associate myself with Aap Ki Kachehri, a platform that belongs to the common man. As a facilitator of the show, my endeavour is to help people resolve differences leading to a more effective, congenial and progressive country," she said.

The cases chosen in this show will be from real life and sourced from various NGO's and agencies. Viewers can call in or write about their cases.

Aap Ki Kachehri starts November 10 at 10.30 pm on Star Plus.
