Musician Ustad Mohammad Sayeed Khan's book, Sangeet Ke Jawaharat, was released on June 8 in New Delhi, by sarod maestros Amaan Ali Bangash and Ayaan Ali Bangash alongwith Padma Shri vocalist Ustad Ghulam [Images] Sadiq Khan.

The book brings out the hidden treasure of Indian classical music. Khan has also written about the 400-year old training of music and culture.

Releasing the book, Ghulam Sadiq Khan described Sayeed Khan as a vocalist par excellence.

"Ustad Mohd Sayeed Khan is not only a versatile vocalist, he is an experienced guru as well," he said. "His students are creating waves worldover."

Presiding over the function, Amaan Ali said the book written by Sayeed Khan was an invaluable gift to music lovers, researchers and students alike.

"This book is a vast ocean of knowledge and information wherein special emphasis has been given to voice-oriented music. The methodology of learning the classical music has been simplified to a great extent by this attempt," he said.
