If you have watched Kundun Shah's 1983 classic Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron, you probably loved it. But there are quite a few who haven't watched the laugh riot black comedy yet.

Now, the buzz is that the Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron team is coming together to remake it. Gullu's sources say Firoz Nadiadwala may make the film, set in today's times.

Naseeruddin Shah [Images] has been signed on already, and now, the process of wooing Ravi Vaswani, as well as the rest of the original cast, is on. Kundun Shah will direct the new film as well.

Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro originally starred Naseer, Vaswani, Satish Shah, Om Puri [Images], Pankaj Kapur, Neena Gupta, Satish Kaushik and the late actress Bhakti Barve.

The film completes 25 years this year, and Nadiadwala plans to launch the new film around the same time.

Until then, he will be busy with his other film, 1857- The Indian Mutiny, which will tell the story of the prominent leaders of those times -- Tatya Tope, Mangal Pandey, Bahadur Shah Zafar, Rani of Jhansi, Nanasaheb Peshwa and Azeezanbai.
