Imran Khan, the kidnapper?

Gullu Gupshup | August 07, 2008 16:06 IST

For fans of Imran Khan [Images], here is some good news.

Promos of the Jaane Na Ya Jaane Tu actor from his latest film -- Kidnap -- will be screened during the premiere of Singh is Kinng.

A reliable source informs us that this is the first time we will be seeing Aamir Khan's [Images] nephew in a movie after the success of his debut film.

If sources are to be believed, Imran will be seen in a negative role -- that of a kidnapper -- with Sanjay Dutt [Images] hot on his trail. The film is directed by Sanjay Gadhvi, the director of Dhoom series who had a falling out with the Yash Raj group post Dhoom 2 [Images]Ashtvinayak films is producing Kidnap.

Interestingly, Kidnap would have been the first release of Imran but the film got delayed after Sanjay Dutt was sentenced to prison. Kidnap is tentatively set for an October release.
