Tattoos are 'sacred' (sorry mommy papa, I have to speak the truth here). Painfully moved? Bursting to tell the world something? Want everybody to take notice of you? Craving for opinionated attention? It's time for a tattoo! And that is the prelude to all tattoo stories!
The B-town citizens are no strangers to the eternal-ink. There was a time in Bollywood when the stars would hide their tattoos. But today with more and more body being exposed, it's virtually impossible to afford too much private body space to hide anything!
So yesterday's taboo has become today's 'must have', especially in Bollywood!
The first star to boldly endorse a tattoo was the mast mast girl Raveena Tandon [Images]. She got the icon of her star sign -- a scorpion -- etched on the left side of her chest. Hmmm, might as well put it where everyone's eyes are right!
Sanjay Dutt [Images] has got two tattoos done by popular tattoo artist Sameer Patange.
This perma-inker gets his inspiration from Spanish artist Luis Royo, who is known for his sensual paintings of women and mechanical life forms.
Sanjay has a huge Lion that reads 'Simba rules'. Apparently, it denotes the child hidden inside the man, cute but clichd!
Urmila Matondkar [Images] has an angel sitting on her right shoulder blade.
Rohit Roy flaunts a big Ganpati on his right bicep.
Aftab Shivdasani [Images] has gone bit further. His tattoo has four gods merged into one. Now that's a real desperate cry for help to push his collapsing career I suppose!
