She has made many a heroine dance to her steps.

Meet Vaibhavi Merchant, the talented choreographer whose dance steps for Aishwarya Rai [Images] in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's [Images] Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam's Dhol Baaje song, won her a national award.

Another popular song which she choreographed was Kajra Re from the film Bunty Aur Babli [Images].

But the best is yet to come for Merchant is behind the moves of dancing queen Madhuri Dixit [Images] in the upcoming film, Aaja Nachle.

Needless to say, Merchant is all pins and needles. Only time will tell if she hits the jackpot with Aaja. While on the subject of Madhuri, Merchant can't help but recall her favourite dances of the actress. Here are her top five and what she thinks of them:

Kahe ched ched mohe from Devdas (2002)

This is one of my most favourite songs that Birju Maharaj has choreographed so beautifully. Watching Madhuri is a treat.

Ek do teen from Tezaab (1988)

Seeing Madhuri dance in this song was a complete eye-opener for me. That dancing could look so gorgeous and grand hit me and trigged the dancer in me. Madhuri was simply amazing in that song. All the songs choreographed by Saroj Khan are my favourite.

K kera k sera from Pukar (2000)

This song sees Madhuri in a totally different avatar. And it is all thanks to Prabhu Deva's [Images] innovative dance steps.

Channe ke khet mein from Anjaam (1994)

This is one of the most popular number even though the movie did not do so well. I loved that thmooka (hip movement) which I think everyone copied later.

Humko aaj kal hai intezar from Sailaab (1990)

Nothing can't beat this song. The ease in which she dances and the expressions on her face is unforgettable.
