Reacting to the alleged racial attacks on Shilpa Shetty on UK reality TV show Celebrity Big Brother, External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee said India has never supported racial discrimination.

"British Prime Minister Tony Blair has already given his reaction on this and I conveyed the government's stand to our High Commission," Mukherjee told reporters.

"Racial discrimination can never be supported," he concluded.
