Pandit Ram Sevak Tiwari feels the Aishwarya Rai-Abhishek Bachchan jodi will last forever as their wedding date -- April 20 -- is one of the best dates of the year.

Tiwari, 35, a Amitabh Bachchan fan from Allahabad who has settled down in Mumbai, is braving the heat along with other fans. He is hoping to glimpse his favourite stars outside the Bachchan bungalow, Prateeksha. He also wants to give the couple his best wishes.

"They have chosen the Akshay Tirthiya day for their wedding," the pandit says. "This day comes only once a year and is the best date for a wedding. Nothing can go wrong for couples who marry on this day."

Tiwari has always arrived at the Bachchan home to conduct poojas and havans for the Bachchans whenever trouble has loomed for the family.

"I do pooja paat and other rituals on my own for the Bachchans because I feel he (Amitabh) is like my family. I am proud to hail from Allahabad. Amitabh Bachchan has brought such a good reputation to my native place," Tiwari adds.

"On April 20, there are three good mahurats for the wedding. Two are in the morning -- 7.11 am and 10.06 am -- and the third is at 6.13 pm. I think the Bachchans will go for 6.13 pm for the wedding," he says.

Tiwari is confident about his predictions and says the pandit who will perform the rites for the wedding hails from Jabalpur.

He claims to have met Amitabh Bachchan on several occasions. Once, he gave the superstar a sacred thread; another time, he tied a thread on Bachchan's wrist.

"He is the only actor who is respected all over India," declares Tiwari. "There is no one close to him."
