Latino pop singer Jennifer Lopez [Images] will perform in Mumbai on May 21 as part of the first anniversary celebrations of Kingfisher Airlines. This will be her first performance in India.

Kingfisher Chairman and CEO Vijay Mallya [Images] claimed that, within a year of launching operations, the airline has bagged a market share of 8.7 per cent and carried over a million passengers. Kingfisher is also currently the only domestic carrier providing in-flight entertainment.

Commenting on the recent launch of Kingfisher first class service, Mallya added, "It is only fitting that an icon like Jennifer Lopez be part of the anniversary celebrations of Kingfisher Airlines. I am delighted that thousands of her fans will be able to see their legend perform in person."
