Ben KingsleyBeing knighted brings with it a share of controversy. Just ask Sir Ben Kingsley.

The Oscar-winning actor has gone on record denying that he insisted he be credited as `Sir Ben Kingsley' for the promos of his new film Lucky Number Slevin.

The film also features Morgan Freeman and Charlie's Angels star Lucy Liu [Images].

Veteran producer Lord Puttnam called the 62-year-old Gandhi star `barmy' for demanding the title be used before his name.

Sir Ben, however, told the Sunday Telegraph: `I was shocked when I found out what had happened. I've always been proud of the title, but I've learnt to be quietly proud.'
