Celebrity pregnancies are just everywhere, aren't they?

Even as we're bombarded with day-to-day nappy updates of Britney Spears' [Images] just-born son, and Jennifer Garner [Images] letting out, on Jay Leno's Tonight Show, that the child she and Ben Affleck [Images] are expecting is a girl, now comes the biggest announcement of all.

Hollywood's biggest movie star, Tom Cruise [Images] and his fiancee Katie Holmes [Images] are expecting a baby.

The two have been engaged for four months now.   

'Katie is pregnant,' Cruise's publicist and sister, Lee Anne DeVette, announced to the press. 'They are expecting a baby. They are very excited,' she added.

Cruise, 43, and Holmes, 26, first unveiled their relationship to an incredulous world six months ago, and announced their engagement with a Paris press conference in June.

DeVette did not comment on when the actress was expected to give birth, but confirmed that Holmes was doing fine and 'had never felt better.' She also clarified that 'there is no wedding date set yet.'

Cruise has two adopted children, Connor, 10, and Isabella, 12, with his ex-wife, Nicole Kidman [Images].
