Naseeruddin Shah, whose films Iqbal and Parzania are being screened at the 36th International Film Festival of India in Goa [Images], said that his directorial venture Yun Hota To Kya Hota is almost complete and will release in April next year.

Talking to reporters at the International Film Festival of India, Naseer said the film had four different stories about people trying to migrate to America. Yun Hota.... stars Konkana Sen Sharma [Images], Irfaan Khan and Ayesha Takia [Images], among others.

The actor-director said he was happy about Iqbal doing well and was not particularly worried about its fate as an Indian entry into the competition section at the festival.

Asked about the mixed comments for Parzania, he said the audience should not be narrow-minded. ''The film is not about any community but depicts the travails of a family whose child goes missing amid communal riots.''

He also said he could not watch films back to back and avoided going to film festivals.
