AB, Hrithik in Farhan Akhtar's next

Farhan Akhtar Dil Chahta Hai director Farhan Akhtar has roped in Amitabh Bachchan, Hrithik Roshan and Preity Zinta for his next film, Laksh.

Javed Akhtar, Farhan's father, has penned the dialogues and lyrics for the film. The director recently visited Ladakh to hunt for locations.

Priya Rajvansh murder trial commences

Two years after the body of yesteryear actress Priya Rajvansh was discovered at filmmaker Chetan Anand's home, the murder trial commences on Monday, June 17.

Over 100 witnesses have been cited by the prosecution but all of them may not be examined in court.

Rajnikanth returns with Baba

Rajnikanth Millions of Rajnikanth fans eagerly await the release of Baba—the actor's first celluloid venture in three years.

The story of Baba is being kept under wraps to maintain the suspense. Budgeted at Rs 50 million, the film also stars Manisha Koirala and a Japanese actress, with A R Rahman composing the soundtrack.

A unique gesture that Rajnikanth makes with his fingers in the film has been depicted in all its posters. This has created such a ripple amongst the actor's admirers that Baba's producers have now obtained copyrights of the gesture.
