Waheeda Rehman, last seen in Yash Chopra's breezy love story Lamhe (1991), makes a comeback in OJJ.

Apparently, during the making of Lamhe, the veteran actress promised Kher that if he were to ever direct a film, she would definitely be part of it.

Incidentally, the actress was supposed to play the role of Amitabh Bachchan's wife (later done by Jaya Bachchan) in Karan Johar's Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham. Unfortunately the actress lost her husband around the same time and dropped out of the project.
