Amitabh for Ravi Chopra's Bagbaan We hear that Ravi Chopra has signed Amitabh Bachchan for his next film Bagbaan. The director was negotiating with the Big B and Tabu for his project and is now looking out for another hero and heroine for his project, which rolls in March.
Lagaan goes to Dubai From the United States, where he is lobbying hard for an Oscar nomination, actor Aamir Khan heads straight to Dubai on January 24, where he performs with the Lagaan 11 at Dubai's Creek Golf & Yacht Club for Bollywood to Broadway. The three-hour musical extravaganza will have musical sequences from Aamir's films -- Lagaan and Dil Chahta Hai. Besides Aamir, Saif Ali Khan, Akshaye Khanna, Rani Mukherji and Preity Zinta will perform at the show.
Raaz dubbed in Telugu, Tamil Raaz, the supernatural thriller by Vikram Bhatt, is being dubbed into Telugu as Rahasyam and will be released on February 1. Producer Mukesh Bhatt said the film, featuring Dino Morea, Bipasha Basu, Ashutosh Rana and others is also being simultaneously released in Tamil. The Telugu version of the film would be screened in the US and Middle East, he added.
14 Burman songs for Dil Vil Pyaar Vyaar Anant Mahadevan's new film Dil Vil Pyaar Vyaar uses 14 of music director R D Burman's best compositions in its soundtrack. The director says they had selected Burman's best numbers and had woven them into the script. The film stars Madhavan, Jimmy Shergill, Sanjay Suri, Juhi Chawla, Hrishita Bhatt and Namrata Shirodkar.
