What’s the raaz behind Bipasha’s voice?

A still from Raaz -- Dino and Bipasha If the performances in Raaz seemed splendid, director Vikram Bhatt deserves the credit.

A team of dubbing artistes, headed by Mona Ghosh, did an amazing job for Bipasha Basu. In fact, Basu isn't the only one with a borrowed voice. Malini Sharma's voice has been dubbed by another pro dubbing artiste Namrata.

And Dino's voice in the film belonged to none other than director Vikram Bhatt himself.

Incidentally, Bhatt had also dubbed Aftab's voice in Kasoor.

Spooky, eh?

Strictly sponsored!

Subhash Ghai As if the flack he received for his blatantly sponsored film Yaadein wasn't enough, Subhash Ghai chose to have a sponsored birthday bash as well.

Unlike the earlier times when all his parties were grand and awaited for, this birthday bash on February 2 was sponsored by Velocity, the new hot spot in Mumbai.

But unlike the previous years when stars, big and small, swelled up at the venue for the big night, this time, there were only a select few.

Shah Rukh had a ball dancing to Adnan Sami's Lift Karade, with the cherubic singer joining him in a hilarious dance.

The special invitee was Dr Indira Hinduja, the in-vitro expert who was instrumental in bringing Muskaan (the Ghais' baby girl) into this world.

Aishwarya Rai and Arjun Rampal were other invitees.

It's all in the family

Amisha Patel You saw her in a cameo as Hrithik’s mother in Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai.

Now she has eagerly taken up Suneel Darshan’s offer to play reel-life mom to Amisha in Mere Jeevan Sathi.

Yes, Asha Patel, attractive mother of Amisha, is enjoying every moment in front of the camera.

And if she's the new screen mom around, brother Ashmit is trying his luck in tinsel town too. He is busy making himself visible to prospective producers. And since he is a pleasing a sight, it won't be long before he joins the filmi bandwagon.

Considering Amisha had declared how her family was far removed from the filmi scene and that they were strictly a wealthy business lot, she sure spoke a bit too soon.
