Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai

This Rakesh Roshan flick saw debutante Hrithik Roshan soar to superstardom. Amisha Patel, also a newcomer, didn't get much credit for this blockbuster.

Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai used the tried and tested formula: poor boy meets rich girl, both get stranded on a deserted beach and blink! They fall in love.

But the film did bring out how the girl deals with the death of her sweetheart and how she then comes to terms with his lookalike.
