Shah Rukh Khan is in a dilemma.

And he has the industry agog with curiosity.

Will he launch friend Farah Khan's maiden directorial venture as the next home production? Or will he give mentor and godfather Aziz Mirza a long awaited opportunity to direct the next film for Dreamz Unlimited?

Farah, for her part, refuses to wait. And a close friend admits that the choreographer will be very upset if, after all the promises and assurances he has made her, the Khan goes back on his words.

Meanwhile, sources say that Aziz Mirza is working very hard on the subject and trying hard to impress upon the Khan that he is due for a second chance.

And Shah Rukh... is biding his time, immersed in the post-production and release hassles of Asoka.

Kareena Cola war!

Kareena Kapoor Babita couldn't have been happier.

The two cola giants -- Pepsi and Coca Cola -- were busy vying with each other wooing daughter Kareena Kapoor as the newest model for their product.

Tempting offers were tossed at her. And Babita made the most of them.

She met representatives from both the companies and sent them back and forth, hinting that the other had a better offer. They bit the bait, not wanting to lose out on the flavour of the country.

The biggest thrill was that Coca Cola was willing to make Kareena a better offer than what they had signed Aishwarya Rai for.

In the end, it was Pepsi which won... making Kareena richer by a few crores!

She gave the producers of Aankhiyon Se Goli Mare the required dates. Her secretary even confirmed the shoot. But after the unit reached Hyderabad, he reveals that Raveena will not join them.

And all this while, pretty Ravs was wooing audiences in the US doing stage shows.

The bridge across Sunny and Santoshi... is forever?

Sunny Deol The Sunny Deol-Rajkumar Santoshi battle has taken a new turn.

Ever since Sunny walked out of Lajja due to differences of opinion, a distressed Santoshi claims that the star's acting pricey with the man who was responsible for his initial success.

Sunny, on the other hand, claims the director is not the same person that he knew him to be.

Sunny's also hurt because he says it was his idea to make a film on the life of Bhagat Singh, which he had discussed with Santoshi. And before he knew it, Santoshi went ahead and announced his project.

Irked by Santoshi's 'betrayal', Sunny is hell bent on directing a Bhagat Singh film himself.

Whose film will be better?

Deadly demands

Sanjay Leela Bhansali When an accident occurred for the first time, everyone dismissed it as unfortunate.

But now, the death of lightman Subhash Marulkar on the sets of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film Devdas, has everyone's tongues wagging.

The technician fell down from a height while adjusting the lights on the sets.

Insiders say that Bhansali makes improbable demands at the eleventh hour. To keep the director happy, the crew risks the lives of the juniors.

Poor Bapat's bound

Rakesh Bapat in Tum Bin Rakesh Bapat, the adorable guy who was introduced in Tum Bin, must rue the day he signed up a three-year contract with T-Series, which introduced him.

Rakesh now needs to procure permission from his mentor. Those who wish to sign him have to obtain permission from T-Series.

The catch is: T-Series decides on a figure, and Rakesh cannot work for less than the amount.

Is that why poor Rakesh's smile has been replaced by a frown?
