The Plot: Pitaah is the tale of a hard working, righteous peasant Rudra (Sanjay Dutt) who will do anything to keep his wife (Nandita Das) and kids secure. All he wants is their happiness.

But Destiny has other plans as his daughter is raped by the the wicked village landlord (Om Puri). Rudra must rise against the feudal system to protect his honour and safeguard his family's rights.
