Fardeen wants his car back
Actor Fardeen Khan has appealed to a special court to direct the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) to return his car -- an Opel Astra, which was seized at the time of his arrest, on May 6.
Fardeen's lawyer argued that the car was not used in the crime as the nine grams of cocaine were recovered from co-accused Nasir Abdul Karim Shaikh, when they were nabbed.
Anil Kapoor's takes on 21 cities
Anil Kapoor will be performing in 21 cities all over England and the US with actresses Aishwarya Rai and Preity Zinta and the Lagaan XI.
Anil will be dancing to some of his most popular numbers -- My name is Lakhan, Kuch na kaho and Ramta jogi.
Cinema in India -- Back after eight years
"Cinema in India" -- a film magazine was re-launched after a gap of eight years.
Published by the NDFC the magazine will enable readers to keep abreast with the latest in Indian cinema.
The magazine promises to stay away from the personal lives of film stars. "Cinema in India" will be available at select stores in Bombay and other major metros.
Devdas -- One too many?
Devdas -- The Shah Rukh Khan-Madhuri Dixit starrer has been made over 10 times in India already.
The original version was first made in 1935 by actor/director P C Barua based on Sarat Chandra Chatterji's Bengali novel of the same name.
Director Sanjay Leela Bhansali version will be ready for an early 2002 release.
