Anil's role models: Pranoy Roy, Karan Thapar, Rajat Sharma

Anil Kapoor Anil Kapoor, who's currently promoting Nayak -- The Real Hero, is of the opinion that politics ought to be considered a profession and children should be groomed for it.

Politics needs youngsters, he says, not those between 50 and 60 years, at a recent press conference.

Anil, who plays a TV journalist in Nayak, says his sources of inspiration are three well-known television personalities. He used Pranoy Roy's unassuming, charm, Karan Thapar's aggression and Rajat Sharma's poker face as character traits for his role.

What's more, Anil thinks the political thriller could have an impact on the forthcoming Uttar Pradesh assembly elections.

Lata sings for Kareena

Yaadein Word has it that Lata Mangeshkar, who turns 73 this year, will record a song for Kareena Kapoor in the Yash Chopra production, Mujhse Dosti Karoge.

In spite of frail health, Lata has also recorded four songs for brother Hridayanath Mangeshkar for the offbeat Lal Salaam.

Squash is the name of Aamir's game

Aamir Khan Aamir Khan recently inaugurated the Mid-Day A-H Ansari Academy at Bombay's Andheri Sports Complex.

Aamir is a regular squash enthusiast and was seen playing a game at the academy, too.

Sandhali quashes marriage rumours

Sandhali Sinha Sandhali Sinha, the Tum Bin star, has quashed rumours which said she was getting married.

She said her career was her priority and added that acting would not take a backseat.
