Fresh from his emphatic electoral victory and formation of government for the second consecutive term, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy is all set to undertake a pilgrimage to Bethlehem.

Accompanied by family members, Reddy, a Christian by faith, will leave for Israel on Thursday morning on a three-day visit to Bethlehem.

This is his second pilgrimage to the holy place of Christians. He made first pilgrimage to Bethlehem after coming to power in the state in 2004.

Though a practicing Christian, YSR has also been making appearances and offering prayers at the Hindu temples in the state. His son-in-law Anil Kumar is also famous and popular evangelist who has been conducting massive congregations in the state.

YSR will return to Hyderabad on May 29.
