Former prime minister and Janata Dal (S) supremo H D Deve Gowda said has said he will meet Third Front leaders in New Delhi [Images] on May 17.

Gowda, however, added he would not be able to attend the proposed meeting with  Bahujan Samajwadi Party leader Mayawati [Images] on May 18.

He said, There is no political angle to it. May 18 is my birthday".

He said, "Every birthday, I visit Tirupathi. This year, too, I will do the same. I would,  however, join the discussions in New Delhi on May 19."

Gowda said he kept CPM boss Prakash Karat [Images] in the loop about the same.
