Bhajan Lal retains Adampur

Haryana Congress chief Bhajan Lal retained his Adampur seat in Haryana on Sunday.

He defeated his nearest rival by over 86,000 votes.

Congress took an early lead in the assembly elections in Haryana going by available trends.

Chief Minister Om Parkash Chautala, facing the anti-incumbency, was trailing Haryana Congress Working Committe president Randeep Singh Surjewala in Narwana.

However, Chautala had established early leads in Rori.
