Maharashtra CM Shinde resigns

Maharashtra Chief Minister Sushilkumar Shinde resigned on Tuesday.
Shinde, on his arrival at Mumbai from New Delhi, drove straight to Raj Bhavan and submitted his resignation to Governor Mohammed Fazal to facilitate the formation of the new government.
Fazal accepted Shinde's resignation and asked him to continue as caretaker CM till an alternative arrangement is made.
