The Battle for Maharashtra

63.21% turnout in Maharashtra

The turnout in the Maharashtra assembly election was 63.21 per cent, the state Election Commission announced on Thursday after compilation of the data received from all the 288 constituencies in 35 districts.

Votes will be counted on October 16 and all results will be out by around 1400 IST, EC sources said.
