It was the Bahu all the way in Nashik, Maharashtra, on Tuesday.

Congress president Sonia Gandhi put up a great show with Nationalist Congress Party head Sharad Pawar as they shared a platform to attack the Shiv Sena-BJP alliance. Together, they asked voters to re-elect the Congress-NCP combine in the state.

It was the first-ever Congress-NCP joint election rally in Nashik, but, needless to say, Sonia stole the thunder.

She began with slamming the saffron government for ignoring the weaker sections and the backward regions of the state... the roars from the crowd did not stop.
