GovindaBollywood actor Govinda on Thursday said he will travel in local trains and buses as part of his election campaign even as the Congress declared his candidature from Mumbai North parliamentary constituency.

Govinda, who received the news of his nomination from Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde, said it would be his humble attempt to meet the "lowest of the lowest" in his constituency and try to understand their problems.

"I have undergone the trouble and struggled in my early days and would attempt to find out if things have improved or
remained the same," Govinda told reporters at his residence after meeting Shinde and Mumbai Regional Congress Committee president Gurudas Kamat.
