Manoj Prabhakar's wife joins BJP

Former Indian cricketer Manoj Prabhakar's wife on Tuesday joined the Bharatiya Janata Party.

Sandhya was 'fascinated and impressed' by the working of the BJP and became a primary member of the party in the presence of Delhi BJP chief Harsh Vardhan.

"I have been a supporter of BJP for several years and wanted to associate with the party as I am proud to be a Hindu," she said.

She does not want to contest the coming Lok Sabha polls only to 'serve the people'.
