Deputy Prime Minister Lal Kishenchand Advani on Wednesday ruled out the inclusion of Telangana and Vidarbha in the National Democratic Alliance agenda.

"Lack of consensus among all political parties in Andhra Pradesh had lead to this decision," Advani told a meeting a Hyderabad.

Elaborating further on the issue he said even when the state unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party favoured Telangana, the party's central leadership was against it.

Both the central and the state party unit had, however, approved the formation of Vidarbha, he said.

"But as there is no consensus among all the political parties in the state, the BJP does not wish to include it in the NDA agenda," he added.
