NDA - 420 (no loss); Italy - 123 (all out)

March 10, 2004 13:44 IST

Cricket fever seems to have gripped Deputy Prime Minister Lal Kishenchand Advani's Bharat Uday Yatra.

A playcard in a Bharatiya Janata Party worker's hand read:

NDA - 420 (no loss),
Vajpayee - 299 (not out)
Advani - 121 (not out).
Italy - 123 all out
Sonia - 70
DMK   - 9
MDMK  - 1
SMK   - 1
CPI   - 9
NCP   - 11
TP    - 6
PDP   - 7
CPM   - 9

No prizes for guessing what the numbers stand for.
