P Chidambaram meets Sonia Gandhi

Former Union finance minister P Chidambaram on Sunday met Congress president Sonia Gandhi in Delhi and discussed the political situation in Tamil Nadu.

The discussions were related to his party, Tamil Maanila Congress (Democratic Forum), working with the Congress in the elections.

The meeting comes in the wake of Congress aligning with the Dravida Munnetra Kazhaghan for the coming Lok Sabha elections.
