It is a political analyst's dream. A Gandhi scion joining the Bharatiya Janata Party.

And if one goes by what senior BJP leader Pramod Mahajan says, Varun Gandhi, son of late Sanjay Gandhi and former Union minister Maneka Gandhi, will be joining the party on February 16.

"With Varun joining BJP, half of the Congress will be with us while other half will be with them (Congress)," Mahajan, also the BJP general secretary, said on Thursday.

He was addressing a public meeting at Chalisgaon, near Jalgaon, after launching the Atal Sandesh Yatra.
