Do you think more youngsters must enter politics?
Young candidates like [Congress leader Murli Deora's son] Milind Deora and the Scindias are coming forward. These people represent the youth and must be encouraged. We must have more of them.
A large part of the vote bank comes from rural areas. These people vote because they have been promised XYZ and they vote according to that. This attitude is wrong. People like you and me, who already have the basic amenities, will vote because we want to make a difference. This is the attitude we must adopt. We shouldn't vote because we want something, but because we want to make a difference.
