For those who only know him as Veeru, his real name is Deol Dharmendra Keval Krishna.

According to an affidavit submitted by Dharmendra while filing his nomination for the Bikaner Lok Sabha constituency in Jaipur on Thursday, the 68-year-old actor passed the inter-mediate exam from Phagwara, Punjab, in 1952.

He has cash in hand amounting to Rs 6.28lakh and in banks, financial institutions, and non-banking financial companies amounting to Rs 26.5lakh and in fixed deposit to the tune of Rs 75.4lakh. Other investments and claims are worth Rs 2.52crore.

He has LIC policies worth Rs 1.40lakh and shares worth Rs 28.21lakh. He owns three vehicles and jewellery worth Rs 3.91lakh.

He has 20.30acre of agriculture land valued at Rs 58.9lakh in Maharashtra, non-agriculture land, commercial land and residential premises worth Rs 1.25crore and an apartment in Goregaon in Mumbai worth Rs 26lakh.
