Former Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Ajit Jogi, who underwent a surgery on Sunday for his spine injury, is "out of danger and is showing signs of improvement," Dr C E Deopujari, who is attending on him at the Bombay Hospital in south Mumbai, said on Tuesday.
Dr Deopujari said Jogi is talking and is "willing to get out of bed."
He said the former chief minister is now off life support system and "all his health parameters are fine."
Jogi fractured his spine and suffered serious head injuries on Sunday when his car crashed against a tree at Gariabandh, about 130 km from Raipur.
