Rahul Gandhi on Monday filed his nomination papers from the Amethi Lok Sabha constituency, which has in the past elected his father, mother and an uncle.

Rahul was flanked by his mother Sonia Gandhi, sister Priyanka and brother-in-law Robert Vadra when he handed over the papers to the returning officer.

Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee president Jagdambika Pal, Congress Legislature Party leader Pramod Tiwari, and senior leaders Captain Satish Sharma and Mohsina Kidwai were among others present.
