More Jogi bags seized in Chhattisgarh

October 30, 2003 23:24 IST

The Chhattisgarh police on Thursday said they have seized another truckload of schoolbags having photographs of Chief Minister Ajit Jogi from a garage in Raipur.

The police have asked the Election Commission for directions on the matter.

A BJP spokesman, meanwhile, claimed party workers informed the state election office and police on receiving information about the truck.

The spokesman said the party has also faxed a message to Election Commission on this matter.

The BJP on Wednesday claimed that its cadres had seized nearly 40,000 bags with images of Jogi.
